Brain Injury Awareness Month Event
June is recognized as Brain Injury Awareness Month in Canada. We are delighted to collaborate with community organizations such as the Brain Injury Association of Fort Erie, Brain Injury Community Re-entry, and the Ontario Brain Injury Association to host a free community event at a public venue in the Niagara region each year during this month.
The goal of the event is to unite brain injury resources, offering adults with lived experiences and community members an opportunity to learn about the various resources available from our agencies and the community booths on-site. Please stay tuned for further details and vendor information for the 2026 event, which will be announced soon.

2024: BIAN and BICR partner together to host the inaugural "BIAM Event in the Park" at Chippawa Park in Welland.

2025: BIAM Event expands to include BIAN, BICR, BIAFE, and OBIA to host "BIAM Event in the Forest" at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls, bringing together 20 community booths, food trucks, and over 100 participants.
